Poet Lisa Bellear, visual artists Sue Callanan and Heidi Knoepfli and composers Eve Duncan, Joseph Giovinazzo and Peter Myers collaborated for 12 months to produce new works which reflected upon Australia's hidden past. Rhapsody in Motion created a space for contemplation and re-examination. It explored, through the different art forms, the ways in which Australian histories collied and interconnect building a complex story of our times. The performance occurred on the 6 & 7th April 2001 at the South Melbourne Town Hall. The web site contains audio & visual extracts from this performance as well as additional material on each of the artists and the creative producer Anna Monea.
