Every times we open up a kiln, we get excited as if it I were our first time. Unfortunately, sometimes we are disappointed with the result. It is still a challenge every time we try. Most of the works could be burned by an electric or a gas kiln. However, Shigaraki has to be burned with the Japanese red pine tree in a wood-fired kiln for one week straight. It usually takes several people work together and watch the temperature by changing the shift. If you have any questions or comments on our works, please feel free to e-mail us at anytime.
