"EcoParque" A Documentary about the border's permaculture
Description: Tijuana has in its hills an example for the whole world. Thanks to a collaboration of ecological scientists, designers, and city authorities, a beautiful park has sprung up on the eastern slope of the Tijuana River Valley that is fertilized by the local residents' "waste" water. In EcoParque, though, nothing is waste, but rather the food that supports a whole ecosystem of native and migrating species. We should all learn how this project has the potential to project our waterways from pollution, beautify our neighborhoods, and strengthen our communities; converting this potential into widespread reality is the purpose of the documentary.
