September 20th, 2003 Since early September Kyiv has witnessed the construction of 30-meter snow ramp for Nokia Totally Board snowboard event. Following Warsaw, Oberhausen, Manchester, Marseilles, Moscow and Sevilla, Nokia Totally Board snowboard contest will be held in Kyiv in September 2003 in National Expocenter of Ukraine. Leading snowboard riders, snowblade and New School ski masters from France, Finland, Norway, Germany, United Kingdom, Russia and Ukraine will compete to win on Nokia Totally Board. The power of emotions on the ramp will be supported by the guests of the music show: Junkie XL, Hi-Fi, Lyapis Trubetskoy, Chicherina, Rouslana, etc. Totally Board in Kyiv is the seventh in the history of Nokia Totally Board. "Totally Board is a unique combination of sports drive and music, -- said Kenneth Jonsson, Managing Director, CIS, Nokia Mobile Phones. We are glad to bring Nokia Totally Board energy to Ukraine today." The history of Nokia Totally Board dates back to 1999 with Warsaw hosting the first event. Totally Board then traveled through Germany, UK, France, Russia and Spain. Hundreds of thousand of people have witnessed the sports show, leading riders in their best performance and music on the snow in the middle of Europe megapolices. The contest enjoys wide popularity among youth with total number of visitors on all events exceeding 0,5 million people. Nokia Totally Board will host a pre-launch in Ukraine of new Nokia product -- Nokia N-Gage mobile game deck, offering a unique gaming experience. Besides gaming, the Nokia N-Gage mobile game deck also features a digital music player (MP3/AAC) and stereo FM radio, as well as a tri-band GSM 900/1800/1900 mobile phone.
